We're keeping the racks full and loading up on holiday meal items! The elves have been very busy, and we’re pretty much ready for anything. I always suggest that if there are any specialty items for the holidays, please get those orders in early so we can be sure to get them in.

Despite what I said last week... we picked up a couple of new wines this week... actually quite a few. We bought at both the cheap and cheerful level and a little above that. It wasn’t my intention to bring in 10 new wines, but hey….whatcha gonna do? These are all very good bottles at great prices, so if a party is in the picture this holiday season, we’ve got some great offerings that will help set the table.
Dan’s Feature ⭐️
This week's feature was one of those wines I just couldn’t say no to… Nola Grace 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi, California. Lodi has always been a great parcel to buy from with its distinctive big fruit, and when brought to us last week, I bought it almost immediately. This is an easy wine: easy on the palate and easy on the pocket at $16.99. This is the wine I’ll share with the masses. Dark fruit with a full body and a lingering finish make this a go-to for the holidays. Will it pair with items on your holiday table? You bet. Will it fill an empty glass and have someone coming back and asking for more? Most certainly. We brought in a few cases, and more is always available. This is one of the bottles that you will want to open a few of; be it the first bottle of the night or the last, it’s going to be a people pleaser.

My pick… well, the little sister of their Cabernet, the Nola Grace 2022 Sauvignon Blanc. Once again priced at $16.99 and sure to become a favorite, this is the bottle that received all the press. Listed as a Best Buy in the $20 and under category, this Sauvignon Blanc "is crafted in a rich, California style that provides a pleasing body and a lingering finish. The ripe fruit flavors include passion fruit and guava accented by a hint of minerality... rand round, this satisfying, medium-bodied wine offers hints of vanilla and butter alongside a honeydew melon flavor." Both this week's feature and pick are great wines to share with family and friends this holiday season, so stop in and pick up a few to have on hand. They’re just what you need for those impromptu moments during this holiday season.
