Dan’s Wine Feature
Uggiano Brunello di Montalcino is my feature for Mothers Day, why?? Brunello is considered the Queen of Italian wines and what better to have this Sunday for the Queen in your life. At $36.99 it’s a great price and where else can you find a late Mothers Day gift? My plan was to be in Italy for Mothers Day and I most likely would have been drinking a Brunello. This wine is the highest expression of Sangiovese and is only produced in the rolling hills of Montalcino. It’s always a celebratory wine for me making this a great choice for the Sunday dinner table.

I’m very used to tracking wine prices, but food prices are an entire other entity… I’m trying to learn the food procurement proper procedures and I’ll do my best for you. When wines are out of inventory my distributors don’t substitute another wine, nor will I allow foods to be substituted again…I’ll do my best to continue consistency.
