HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

Haven’t had a normal holiday in awhile, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and now the 4th of July… but, let’s be honest we all still have something to celebrate!

For both customer and employee safety we will be asking that all please provide facial covering while in the store.

Hours and operations will be Monday thru Saturday.

10:00 – 6pm.

CLOSED SATURDAY JULY 4

We’ve got you covered for everything this weekend, cold beer, crisp whites, beautiful Rosés and of course all the meats!

WINE NEWS…

You can pick up this week’s Feature and Pick for just a tad over $20.00, making these wines a block buster, honest to goodness, 4th of July sale!

Dan’s Wine Feature

My Pick for this holiday weekend is Charles & Charles 2017 Post No. 35 Red Blend from Columbia Valley, Washington. At $12.99 this bottle won’t break the bank. This Cabernet/ Syrah blend has been a favorite here for many years and at this price and quality it just seems like the perfect match for burgers, ribs or for that matter, anything coming off the grill.

Dan’s Wine Pick

Charles and Charles Rosé is this week’s pick, but why for this weekend you may ask? Two reasons, first because it has an American flag on the label and second, I purchased a case of their 2018 at $8.99 a bottle, and at $5.00 off, I couldn’t go wrong. This Rosé is still going strong and will surely be a party pleaser for this weekend and will go with whatever’s on your table this 4th of July.

FOOD NEWS

We were thinking about the grill when putting together this week’s food order. Be it steaks, burgers, chops or fresh fish we’ve got them ready for whatever plans you have this holiday weekend…

Food Feature of the Week

Ribs and Burgers are the feature for this holiday weekend. That’s right, ½ pound Certified Angus Steak Burgers in 2-pound packs (4 Burgers per pack) at $9.99. These have become a favorite here and this week they’re coming in fresh! While you have the grill heated up why not throw on a couple racks of Baby Backs. These ribs are precooked, seasoned up and only have to be warmed up on the grill. We’re keeping it simple this week, fire up the grill and enjoy the weekend!

Final Thought

In essence of employee and customer safety we have come to the decision that until further notice our restaurant and bar will remain closed. While this may not be the answer you had hoped for we feel this decision is the best for these precarious times. We will continue as we always have, providing the best service, the best wines, beers and now provisions that we can find to share with all of you. We hope you understand and we wish you all well and of course hope to see you soon.

Cheers from all of us here at The Wine Merchant
