Not sure if you were fortunate enough to get one of these bottles earlier but for a brief time The Prisoner Cabernet is back in stock! The wine makers notes describe this wine as having “aromas of black cherry and ripe plum layered with vanilla and baking spice. Concentrated dark fruit flavors culminate in a lush, full mouthfeel and a lengthy finish”. This is a blend of, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Petite Sirah and a touch of Charbono making this a wine that truly drinks to the wine makers notes. This 90+ Cabernet from Napa is certainly a crowd pleaser and at $54.99 it’s perfect for your next gathering.

Who said you can’t get a great Dry Riesling from Australia? Eden Valley 2020 Dry Riesling from Pewsey Vale proves that obviously they can. This single vineyard estate Riesling is a great alternative this summer to your traditional choices and at $17.99 it’s certainly not going to break the bank. This 96pt Riesling is “pale straw in color with green hues. Intense aromas of fine dried herbs, white flowers, lemon and lime. A long and rich palate, reminiscent of grapefruit, lime and fresh rosemary. The wine finishes with a soft natural acidity which balances the flavor and minerality that is delicious now or will reward medium to long-term cellaring”. But, hey why cellar when you can enjoy this bottle chilled right now, pair this with your favorite seafood, chicken or grilled pork and you’ll agree Riesling can be so much more than what you ever thought!
